Exhibition Space: Main Gallery
Dinnerware Artspace operates their main gallery at 264 E. Congress. The space is primarily used for community gatherings and group exhibitions.
Exhibition Space: Satellite Galleries
Dinnerware Artspace manages two additional Congress Street galleries available for lease to artists on a monthly basis:
Arts Incubator Gallery
108 E. Congress
and
Rocket Gallery
270 E. Congress
The intent is to provide artists a non-juried venue to exhibit their work.
The use fee is $400.
Artists are encouraged to think of this as an opportunity to organize a small group of artists to exhibit their work.
Artists may elect to do a solo exhibit, group exhibit, theme exhibit, installations, or other events at these galleries. The artists choose the date of the artist reception and conduct their own reception.
There is no gallery commission on sales.
Use of either gallery runs closer to about 3 1/2 weeks allowing for exhibition installation and take down.
Contact Dinnerware staff for scheduling.
Artist Collective: Central Arts Gallery
In the summer of 2008, Dinnerware organized an artist collective called Central Arts Gallery, 274 E. Congress. The format allows artists to be juried into the collective, pay dues, organize exhibits, and operate their own art gallery.
